Kitchen Capers

Summer is too hot for cooking.
With the onset of a cooler morning I got busy.
Chicken soup.
Sweet rice.
Fried Rice.
Double batch of focaccia.
Relish tray-carrots, celery, baby corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, beets.
Steamed and marinating green beans.
Beets sliced and pickled.
Iced tea.
Iced coffee.
Grand finale-red peppers, green peppers, onions, chicken-along the lines of Subway's "Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken."
Then, someone volunteers to do the dishes!
